Winner of the 2001 Midwest PGA Match Play Championship, 2002 Midwest PGA Section Championship, and the 2004 Callaway Golf Professional of the Year. No known relation to legendary Metropolitan PGA Professional Johnny Farrell, winner of the 1928 U.S. Open. In 2000, he began a seven-year career as PGA Head Professional at Oakwood Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri. From 2007-09 was PGA Head Professional at Muttontown Country Club. From 2011-16, was PGA Director of Instruction / First Assistant at The Creek Club in Locust Valley, New York. Winner of the 2015 Long Island Open, and in 2020 became the only Long Island-born champion of the Long Island Senior Open, the first Long Island-born player to win the title.
