Corey Pavin notched the second hole-in-one at PGA Frisco in its major debut on the fourth hole Thursday, knocking in a 4 iron from 183 yards. The 63-year-old landed on the front of the green, trundling over multiple ridges until his ball ran into the flagstick and dropped straight home.

The ace jump-started his round from one-under par to three under, bouncing back from a bogey to start his day on No. 10 to a bogey-free round since.
Pavin’s playing in his seventh KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. The 1995 U.S. Open winner has earned three top tens, including two T8 finishes in his previous six starts. He most recently finished T61 at Harbor Shores last year.
