Welcome to the 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Whirlpool Corporation has called Benton Harbor home for more than 110 years and we could not not be more excited to welcome you here as we spend the next several days showcasing all that makes Southwest Michigan a great place to live, work, and play.
This Championship has been made possible in partnership with community organizations, business and civic leaders, government officials, and hundreds of volunteers. Throughout Championship Week, we welcome you to enjoy the best in Champions Tour golf while also experiencing our great community.
On Wednesday, May 22 at 6 pm, residents and visitors alike will be treated to a spectacular celebration of soul, jazz, and R&B during a live concert at Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park featuring R&B legend Jeffrey Osborne, and sensational jazz artists Gerald Albright and Kim Scott. No tickets are required for this free community event, and we invite all golf fans, music lovers, and community members to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the show.
This year, the KitchenAid Fairway Club has moved to the area along the 14th hole. This is the epicenter of the KitchenAid experience where fans will enjoy interactive cooking displays and product demonstrations, smoothie and shave ice samples, espresso tastings, and captivating demonstrations by renowned chefs and home designers.
This year’s star-studded lineup starts on Thursday with Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Food Network star of “Iron Chef America,” “Chopped,” and many others who will showcase her skills, share lessons from her kitchen, and sign copies of her latest cookbook. On Friday, Bravo’s “Top Chef” and longtime co-host of ABC’s “The Chew” Chef Carla Hall will take the stage to share her philosophy of ‘always cooking with love’ and to sign copies of her latest cookbook. On Saturday, Jasmine Roth, host of HGTV’s hit shows “Hidden Potential” and “HELP! I Wrecked My House,” will share tips and answer questions about finding ways to make homes as personal, functional, and beautiful as possible.
Throughout the week, Chef Christopher Covelli and his protegé Chef Brett Wagner will take up residence in the KitchenAid Fairway Club to wow guests with their incredible cooking skills and culinary advice. The Fairway Club will also welcome more local talent than ever before, including talented chefs, baristas, and experts from across Michigan who will make appearances to showcase their secrets.
